EXCEL LOGICAL FUNCTION IF, AND, OR AND NOT

how to use  IF, AND, OR and NOT in Excel

If

IF function checks whether a condition is met, and returns the value if true and other false.

Supoose we have following sheet in excel - Use IF in cell C3 below. In below sheet we have o know if student get 60 or higher than 60 result will be pass else show fail





And
 Use And in cell D3 below. In below sheet we have to know if the first Marks in Edu is greater than or equal to 60 and Marks in Sports is greater than or equal to 80, show FALSE.

  

Or

Use Or in cell D3. In below sheet we have to know if  Marks in Education is greater than or equal to 60 show TRUE or marks in sports is greater than or equal to 70 show FALSE.




NOT 

Use Or in cell D3. NOT function reverses the result of the OR function.
