EXCEL FREEZE

Microsoft Excel
 Suppose a large table of data in Excel, then freeze will be useful. 

By freeze one can keep rows or columns visible while scrolling through the rest of the worksheet.


Freeze Top Row

Freeze top row, following following steps -

1. On the View tab, in the Window group, click Freeze. 




 Click Freeze Top Row -



 Now scroll down to the rest of the worksheet.

Excel will add a dark grey horizontal line to indicate that the top row is frozen.

 
To keep the first column visible while scrolling through the right of the worksheet, click Freeze First Column.


Now UnFreeze Top Row -

To unlock all rows and columns, follow following steps-
 On the View tab, in the Window group, click again Freeze Panes-


 

 further one can also freeze row & columns

EXCEL SHEET PASSWORD




Excel spreadsheet, it's important to protect the data that you're sharing. One might want to share your data, but that doesn't mean data should be changed another who is watching data.

Spreadsheets often contain essential data that shouldn't be modified or removed by the recipient. 
Excel has built-in features to protect your spreadsheets.
Here is techniques –
Protect individual sheets and the workbook structureto prevent the insertion or deletion of sheets in the workbook.
Protect Excel Sheet method –



 Right click on worksheet .

Click on Protect Sheet.

Enter Password.

      Check the actions you want to allow the users of your worksheet to perform.
      
      Now Click OK.
      
      Note:  - if you don't check any action, 
                   users can only view the Excel file!
        
     Confirm the password and click OK.
